Militia group suspects charged with conspiracy

seditious conspiracy and related charges in an alleged plot to kill a
Michigan law enforcement officer and then attack other officers at his
funeral, federal prosecutors said.

Female suicide bombers blamed in Moscow subway attacks

Russian investigators combing two subway stations attacked by female
suicide bombers think Chechen rebels may have been behind the rush-hour
strike that killed dozens of people.
"Our preliminary assessment
is that this act of terror was committed by a terrorist group from the
North Caucasus region," said Alexander Bortnikov of the Federal Security
Service, in reference to the investigation at one of the blast sites.

Young job-seekers hiding their Facebook pages

Justin Gawel says there's nothing too incriminating on his Facebook
page. "There are a lot of pictures of drinking [but] nothing
naked or anything -- at least I don't think so," he said jokingly. Even
so, the Michigan State University junior recently changed his Facebook
display name to "Dustin Jawel" to keep his personal life from potential
employers while applying for summer internships.

Doctors' records subpoenaed in Corey Haim death investigation

The Los Angeles County coroner's office has subpoenaed medical
records from 20 doctors in its investigation into actor Corey Haim's
death, a coroner investigator said.
Haim, who died earlier this
month, obtained drugs using prescriptions written under the names of
these doctors in the past year, Los Angeles County Deputy Coroner Ed
Winter told CNN on Friday.

TV presenter gets death sentence for sorcery

Amnesty International is calling on Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah to
stop the execution of a Lebanese man sentenced to death for "sorcery."
In a statement released Thursday, the international rights group
condemned the verdict and demanded the immediate release of Ali Hussain
Sibat, former host of a popular call-in show that aired on Sheherazade, a
Beirut based satellite TV channel. Amnesty International is calling on Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah to
stop the execution of a Lebanese man sentenced to death for "sorcery."

Dems still chasing votes on health care bill

The House is expected to vote Sunday on the health care bill passed
by the Senate in December. Republicans have vowed to do
everything they can to kill the bill. Here's the latest on where
the debate stands.
Democratic leaders
continue to try to round up the 216 necessary votes to pass the bill.
According to CNN's latest count, 29 Democrats plan to vote against the
legislation. Thirty-eight Democratic "no" votes are needed to kill the
bill.
