TV dance judge Mary Murphy said singer Chris Brown's attack on his girlfriend, Rihanna, prompted her to talk publicly about spousal abuse that she says she suffered first as a teen-aged bride three decades ago.

The quirky TV show "Ally McBeal," about a 20-something single attorney and the eccentric law firm where she worked, exploded onto the scene in 1997 -- complete with a dancing baby, a waiflike star and a devoted audience. The entire series has been released in a 32-disc DVD collection.

While athletes in different professions dealt with doping scandals and other controversies, Woods continued to do what he did best: dominate the field of professional golf and rake in endorsements.
